About Chris

Chris Lonergan is a marketing leader and content strategist with more than two decades of experience in small business marketing and over a decade specializing exclusively in contractor and home service marketing.


Originally from Chicago, Chris relocated to Florida in 2008 and now lives in Orlando with his wife. His career began as a sole owner-operator DJ business in 1999, where he learned firsthand how marketing, branding, and customer experience directly impact growth. That entrepreneurial foundation continues to shape his approach today.

Chris joined Footbridge Media in 2012 as a web and graphic designer, helping create more than 1,000 contractor websites and branding packages.

During his tenure as managing editor, Chris oversaw the development of optimized web content for an additional 1,000+ sites, translating to over 30,000 pages.

Throughout his time at Footbridge Media, he stepped into leadership roles spanning operations, editorial management, and marketing strategy.

Now serving as Director of Marketing, Chris leads content strategy, outbound communications, and brand positioning for the agency. His work includes case studies, whitepapers, video content, podcast development, and educational resources designed to help contractors build stronger, more sustainable businesses.


When he’s not building marketing systems or creating content, you’ll likely find him at a theme park.
